Sarah Cawood is an Outreach Forester with the American Forest Foundation, working with landowners across the Carolinas and Central Appalachians. Through the Family Forest Carbon Program, she helps landowners evaluate their woodlands for program eligibility and develop forest management plans that balance landowner objectives with long-term forest health and carbon sequestration. Her background also includes forestry research, the White Oak Initiative, and invasive species management. Sarah holds a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Kentucky.
